Before the Wayans brothers mocked horror classics, they had to deal with a ghost in this episode

Warner Bros.

Shawn and Marlon Wayans have regained the rights to Scary Movie and wasted no time making a sixth film in the horror parody series. This is their first time working on the franchise since the second movie. Long before they started spoofing horror films, the brothers faced a ghost in the Neidermeyer Building during the Wayans Bros. episode "Scared Straight."

Here’s what happens in the episode. It’s Halloween in their world, and Pops is getting ready for Cassandra, a ghost. Each year, he sets out a cup of coffee and a donut for her on a table at the diner.

He shares the story: "Back when the Neidermeyer Building first opened, there was an elevator operator named Cassandra Malloy. Every morning without fail, she would come into this diner, have a cup of coffee and a donut. On Halloween morning she was late to work, she didn't stop to get her donut, ran straight to the elevator and the doors opened. She stepped on and *BANG*, fell to her death. Just two seconds later, the janitor shows up with an out-of-order sign, only to find her lying in a pool of blood."

Pops says Cassandra’s spirit returns every Halloween Eve for her donut and coffee. If they aren’t there, the building and everyone inside will be cursed.

Shawn and Marlon had heard this story plenty of times, so they decided to play a prank on Pops. They snuck into the diner at night and ate the food he left out for the ghost. After that, strange things started happening to everyone.
