Sitcom Halloween episodes that made scary situations hilarious
Whether you love spooky season or can't wait for it to end, no one can resist a Halloween-themed TV episode. Although today's shows seem to avoid holiday-themed content, '90s and early '00s classics loved bringing a bit of the real world into their fictional universe.
On Dabl, we have all the fan-favorite sitcoms with some of the best Halloween episodes. Let's take a look at a few. (Some of these shows have multiple Halloween episodes)
Martin - "Boo's in the House"
In this episode, Martin and the gang are supposed to be headed to Nipsey's Halloween party. Instead, they end up in a haunted house Martin bought without seeing it first. He didn't know the owner had tricks for them, and they went missing one by one.
Martin and Gina are Ike and Tina; Pam is a cowgirl; Tommy is a Lakers player; and Cole still has his childhood scarecrow costume.
The Parkers - "Scary Kim"
Halloween is also Kim Parker's birthday. While everyone else thinks about costumes, she's putting together a birthday fit. Two episodes feature the two going hand in hand. One is "Scary Kim," with guest appearances by Brandy and the Moesha gang. Kim plays tricks on everyone before her big birthday party, but the real treat is her friends getting her back.
Living Single - "Trick or Trust"
In this episode, Khadijah and Regine go to Scooter's job for a company Halloween party. They're the only ones dressed up as the women try to see if Khadijah's boyfriend has heart eyes for anyone else. Meanwhile, Overton tries to figure out how to scare Max.
One on One - "The Phantom Menace"
A Halloween party and a supposed murder happen at the same time. Flex is out with his girlfriend and bestie Dwayne. He's dressed as Michael Jackson, as is his rival. Meanwhile, Briana and her friends think they witnessed a murder.
Girlfriends - "Remains of the Date"
Joan is having a Halloween party, and she and William are in a prank war.
