All Labor Day weekend, we're showing your favorite Girlfriends episodes, so sit back, grab a snack, and immerse yourself in the drama-filled lives of four friends in their late Twenties: Joan, Maya, Toni, and Lynn.

When Girlfriends debuted in 2000, viewers were introduced to Joan Clayton, a junior partner at her law firm who is beautiful and educated. She has everything except a man — which is something she desperately wants, as in her eyes, she was supposed to be married with kids already. The series revolves around Clayton and the women she formed friendships with at different stages in life.

Joan met Toni as a child, and they grew up together; Lynn came into her life in college; She formed a friendship with Maya at her law firm (she's her assistant); And apparently, she met William once she started working at the firm as well.
