Everybody Hates Chris turns 20! Celebrate with Dabl's October 13 marathon

The Everett Collection

There's a reason why everybody hates Chris... he's just too fresh and too clean. The series, based on comedian Chris Rock's upbringing, is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and Dabl is joining in on the fun. We're showing love to Everybody Hates Chris with a marathon on Monday, October 13 from 6A | 5C to 8P | 7C.

We're showing the best episodes of the series, highlighting the hilarious moments in Chris and his family's lives. With the lead character played by Tyler James Williams, Everybody Hates Chris debuted on September 22, 2005, on UPN before moving to The CW. Chris is a nerdy teenager who gets bullied at school, often gets picked on by his family, has one real friend Greg (Vincent Martella), and can never seem to win the affection of the girls he likes.

His brother, Drew (Tequan Richmond), is the opposite. He's more popular than Chris, and girls always have a crush on him. Their little sister, Tanya (Imani Hakim), is annoying and gets spoiled by their father. Julius (Terry Crews), their father, is a penny-pinching man who watches closely to ensure the family isn't wasting money; meanwhile, Rochelle (Tichina Arnold), their mom, is a little selfish and does not play games.

The name is supposedly a parody of Everybody Loves Raymond, and in every episode, Chris gets the short end of the stick. It was on for four seasons and produced 88 episodes.

Now, you can watch it every day on Dabl, and the marathon is just a special treat.
