Kenya Moore and Magic Johnson guest-starred in the same episode of The Parkers

What happens when Nikki Parker gets the chance to manage a team of theater workers, including Kim, Stevie, and T? She ends up doing everything herself while they protest outside during a movie premiere.

Let's look at what happened. Hakeem's mom, Bernetta Campbell, is known for working at the movie theater on Moesha. Since The Parkers is a spinoff, some characters from Moesha often appeared on the sitcom. In the episode "It's Showtime," Bernetta wins $2 million from the lottery and immediately quits her job, while Magic Johnson worries about finding a last-minute replacement.

Bernetta enlists Nikki, assuring her boss she will manage the place perfectly. With the premiere of the new film Baby Girl coming up, Nikki hires Stevie, T, and Kim to work at the theater. Things go well until Nikki lets Andell convince her that hiring friends and family will lead to them taking advantage of her.

So Nikki starts being, in Kim's words, an "unfair mama." Meanwhile, Professor Oglevee convinces supermodel and actress Kenya Moore to let him be her date to the movie premiere. When Nikki sees them together, especially after the Professor lied to her, she reverts to her usual stalker self, letting it interfere with her job.

Nikki follows Kenya and the Professor around and lies to Magic Johnson about how things are going. After nearly ruining his business, Magic fires her, and Bernetta returns.
